Sradiphath was mad, of course. She looked at everybody slowly, growling at a few that gave weird looks to any of her draklings or her. She would do worse then that to whoever came late now, they were in for it totally... She blew out her nose and some smoke erupted up out of it.

The vibrant pink, painfully naïve, abruptly dropped her task of attempting the art of hole-digging to rush up to her new black sibling, whistling a greeting and moving to nudge the other dragonet with her nose. She was being friendly! Unfortunately, her sister was not so kind as she growled and whipped around. She snapped at the pink's snout, intent on ripping it right off, watch her bump her then. Instead, the pink managed to move just in time – but perhaps not fortunately so as the black latched on to her neck instead, digging her teeth in viciously and moving to rake her claws across her side. Red liquid spilled out as her hide broke. She released a sharp squeal of pain, squirming and struggling, attempting to kick out at her sister. With a sharp yank and shake, the black released her with a hostile shove, snarling at her to warn her away. The pink obeyed, limping away to a place where she could lick at her wounds, whimpering, sadness swirling in her eyes. This day was going to horridly – oooh, what was that?! Perking up, she promptly began to bounce off for the large green egg that her bronze brother guarded, ignoring the sting of her injuries as she looked up at the great egg. Had she been imagining it? She could have sworn she saw it shake a bit. Shouldn't it have already hatched? All her other siblings had hatched! … was this one sleeping? Were they lazy? Ooh, what was that?! She bounded away to study the other remaining eggs! What lazy sleepy butts.

The green hiding out with Koxeth, having been abandoned, released a quiet croon and stumbled out from behind the red-splashed pink egg, having found that it was the only one not being guarded by her bronze sibling. At last she wandered in the direction of the candidates still standing, nosing by most of them. They weren't perfect! Although she crooned at Tyler, she passed her by, and soon enough found Hers. Twining around his legs, the green chirped lovingly. A'gelMine! Fix your shirt! You are perfect but even your Ambreth cannot tolerate such messiness. Chirping authoritatively, Ambreth wound herself around the young females legs. Angel scowled but straightened her shirt up, well at least she finally got hers... Ambreth then released her only when they headed off to get meat from the buckets together.

Without any real warning, the red-splashed egg, the second largest one left, popped open, and a dark brown hatchling rolled madly onto the sands, whipping himself onto his feet with a great inhale of breath - his very first one. Already he was up and moving again, staggering around a little but not falling down more than once or twice. The brown darted over to his bronze brother, eyes sparkling blue with interest, and reached out to touch the green egg, authoritatively assuming he was allowed. The bronze impassively smacked his face away with a wing, and with a snort the brown turned away again. Hmm. Who could he help now that he'd tended to the egg?
Ah! Aha! There was his pink sister! He would have helped her, but she was moving entirely too fast and in too many places at once. Oh, dear. No, he couldn't get to her in time. Shaking his head, the brown flicked his tail and then headed towards the candidates, seeing that there weren't any more dragonets left on the sands - except for his angry black sister and he didn't want to help someone who was going to attack him. So he'd find a Mine instead!
And he did. It didn't take long, either; ascertaining whom he felt needed the most help from himself, the fabulous, the brown sat himself down with an authoritative chirp. Aha! L'ffietteMine! Your Goranth shan't look at another human now... unless of course they're in need of saving. But first, save me with some food, MineOwn. I'll need the strength to save the world.

The bright pink dragonet wasn't the only one to take an interest in the green egg. The bronze perked up instantly, thinking he felt it move. Fascinated, the king crooned gently and nudged the egg. So there was life here - he could feel it; he was sure. Knowing that he had done what he needed to to protect the unborn dragon inside, he at last rose to his feet, furling his metallic wings firmly against his back. Now - and only now - would he go to His.
He'd already figured out which candidate he wanted, having had plenty of time to observe them all. Only a slight tilt of the head indicated that the bronze might have any reservations at all about his choice, and that faint indecision evaporated instantly. He was sure of himself and no one could stop him from choosing His now. Lifting himself so he stood straight, regal as he should be, the bronze swept forward and deposited himself at the feet of his chosen human, looking up at him with brilliant rainbow eyes.
V'yne, He said, he was king, he chose not to call him mine for he had every right to. my chosen. You are intelligent, as surely as I am here before you. You and your Zegmareth, we will make things right. He tilted his head, ever so slightly. Let us begin with a meal.

Mastik sat there, she liked the pink. The pink was cool. No, not cool, awesome! She wanted the pink so bad! Would she get it? She eyed it, smiling. Come on, she hoped the pink would choose soon! She didn't like suspense... She didn't like the black to well, she had hurt the pink...and the egg that had yet to hatch, was is the legendary purple? She'd be cool getting that to! But..what if it wasn't alive? Wait! The bronze had went and found his, he would not have left if it had not stirred would it? She bit her lip, oh she was so excited!

Mia sat there, the htaching was almost over, only a pink and black looking and one egg left. She eyed the egg. That must be the purple, unless the people who said the purple would hatch. She sighed, it didn't matter. She wouldn't get any dragon today. She was kind of glad, now a dragon wouldn't die with her...
