Another work day done and over with, another day where she had extra time to do whatever she wanted to with. She sighed and wandered through the streets of Sylian, she hummed an old childhood song that had always given her comfort and made the time pass a little bit faster. She returned smiles and greetings as she passed by other townsfolk. When she did look up again, the fence around the Training Grounds loomed in her line of sight and she approached it, resting her elbows on it, she saw a few people there training and practicing and she tilted her head and tucked a strand of platinum blonde hair behind an ear as she watched.

Her blue eyes fell upon a very familiar shape and a playful yet shy smile claimed her lips as she called out to him, “Ya know it’s not that cold yet right!?” It was an inside joke between her and Asher and she chuckled a little as she waited for his comeback, they hadn’t talked much since way back when in school, they were close sure, but Dev wanted them to be a tiny bit closer, she wanted to spill the fact to him that she liked him.

She wanted Ashe to tell her the same thing, Devyn wanted them to be in a relationship. H**l, they were both old enough and they knew each other well enough, they’d been friends and good enough friends that everyone would probably agree that it was about time they made it official. She found a spot near the fence, large enough that she could sit easily on it and lean against one of the stone corner columns of the Training Grounds and feel comfortable enough that she could see the entirety of the area and watch the proceedings. She relaxed and waited.

Asher slid back sword poised in one hand breathing a bit heavy, the dummy he had been attacking fell to pieces. He sighed and smirked. "Heh, still got it." He said and swung the sword around in a circle over his shoulder as he spoke. Then he heard a familiar voice. "Ya know it's not that cold yet right!?" He smirked.... same old Dev.. He shook his head and looked at her. "Yes it is I'm freezing!" He called back sarcastically. He set the sword back down where he got it and walked over to the fence so he didn't have to shout at her. He looked her up and down. Pretty as always. He took his hat off so he could take his shirt off and wiped the sweat off his chest with it then threw it over his shoulder.

He shook his head to fix his hair and put his hat back on "Hey haven't seen you in a while." He said as he jumped over the fence to the other side and crouched down balancing on his feet and one hand. "Gotta say kinda missed having you around." He smiled at her. It was true he did miss her a lot. He was pretty lonely without her. She was his closet friend, she knew everything about him. He had a huge crush on her too though he didn't want to say anything afraid that she didn't like him back. He was sure she did though. The way she acted around him was pretty noticeable. He smirked at her and leaned back a little still balanced. He popped his knuckles and his neck, they were starting to hurt. He flinched a little as his neck popped.

He thought of his life and how Dev was there for him through all of it. Dev knew him through and through, she could tell when he was upset or angry. He liked that about her. He needed someone like her around to keep him stable. He felt like himself with her. He smiled just thinking about it. He played with the chain of his cross necklace thinking of Dev. Her blonde hair her gorgeous blue eyes. He smiled more and closed his eyes. He wanted to be with her but was afraid, He needed to get the courage to ask her to be his. Maybe he would get it today....Just maybe. He hoped god he hoped.. He needed her in his life.... Just ask her she will probably say yes just get it over with before you miss your chance. He told himself but shook his head he wanted to know that she liked him for sure.

Dev laughed aloud as she rolled her eyes a little and heard his sweet voice slipping into the air between them, Yes it is I'm freezing! Good ol’ Ashe! She had missed the easiness, with which they could sit and tease one another, her gorgeous blue eyes followed his handsome frame as he moved toward her. She watched him take the hat off a moment and pull his shirt off and she sucked in a breath, God he was hot! Even with his scars. She smirked to herself and tilted her head down a little to hide the blush coloring her cheeks. When he put his hat back on, Dev narrowed her eyes a little and then laughed softly.

Why couldn’t he leave the hat off, she liked seeing him without it. She lifted her head up and listened as he spoke again, Hey haven't seen you in a while. She watched as he jumped over the fence and balanced on his feet and a hand and looked up at her. She tilted her head and shifted her position as he spoke again, Gotta say, kinda missed having you around. Then with a chuckle she spoke up and crossed her arms over her chest as she locked her eyes on him.

“A while? Please Ashe it’s been years! But I missed having you around too. Dominic is not as easy to joke with and tease as you are.” Dev told him with a smirk and then she rolled her eyes playfully as he popped and cracked knuckles and neck and then just because it had been so long she spoke again, “Why don’t you sit up here? It’s much more comfortable than sitting on your feet the whole darn time we’re talkin’ unless you need to get back to training.” A good natured laugh bubbled out of her mouth as she leaned forward, her arms still crossed and her feet tucked up beside her.

“Plus there’s plenty of room.” She wouldn’t admit it, but she wanted to feel him beside her, his strong arms wrapped tight and protectively around her pretty frame. She’d been crushing on him for years, she felt…alive with him, she wanted him, maybe even…needed him. Plus, she kept him steady, she knew it for a fact. Her eyes travelled over him, watched as he played with the chain of his cross, and she knew, she knew then and there, if he didn’t ask her to be his she was going to buck up the courage and ask him instead.

Asher smirked and stood up."You sure if I come over there half naked you won't try to rape me." He asked jokingly but still walked over and plopped down and leaned back. He sat in his normal pose knees up and arms draped over them. he sighed and looked over at her. "Yeah I'm pretty easy to joke with... If your close enough to me..." Said he blue eyes scanning her. "Oh don't think I didn't see that blush." He smirked

He knew he had to ask her to be his. he could tell she wanted her... He wanted her to.. No he needed her. With the way he was he needed someone constant and that knew him well enough to know his moods. She was that someone. he sighed. Come Ashe you can do it. "Ummm Dev.... I have to ask you something..." He said quietly he had to admit he was kinda scared 'I have liked you for a while... I can tell you like me to and I was wondering... " he fiddled with his cross looking down. "Would you be mine..." He asked the last part barely audible.

Now watch her say no I don't like you like that.. I like you as a brother or something like that.God Asher you idiot why did you have to do that you probably just ruined one of your closet relationships. he shook his head of all those thoughts and nodded. he knew she was gonna say yes. He knew she liked him. He sighed and waited for her answer looking at her biting his lip... he was nervous shew could probably tell his eyes darted back and forth he rocked back and forth sightly.

Dev laughed and returned Ashe’s smirk as he got to his feet and spoke, You sure if I come over there half naked you won't try to rape me? She put her hand playfully over her mouth as she laughed again and answered him, “Would a perfect little angel like me do such a thing?” She teased around her hand as she watched him sit beside her and lean back as well, and then she dropped her hand and chuckled a little as she heard his gorgeous voice again as she observed his usual sitting pose, Yeah I'm pretty easy to joke with...if you’re close enough to me... she half smirked then as he mentioned her blush and she felt it rise to her cheeks again momentarily before fading.

“Indeed.” She smiled then as she heard him again, she tilted her head a little and smiled softly again, “Sure Ashe, ask away.” She told him and shifted position, uncrossing her arms and bending her knees back to her other side as she waited for the question, she didn’t have to wait long, I have liked you for a while...I can tell you like me to and I was wondering... her blue eyes watched as he fiddled with the cross and its chain again and finished, Would you be mine...?

A bright smile claimed her lips and her blue eyes brightened, she wasn’t sure what to say, and was quiet for a little bit as she saw him biting his lip and she laughed a little, his nervousness was adorable, if you didn’t know what to say just show him your answer. She told herself and then, she threw her arms around him and smiled a little more broadly as she moved in close, silent for a little longer before she finally spoke, “For years I wondered which of us would buck up the courage…” she paused and leaned back, refusing to unwrap her arms from around him.

Then she spoke again with a gentle laugh, “…what’s funny though, if you hadn’t have done it, I totally would have. Of course I’ll be yours Ashe.” Then she touched his cross and then met his eyes with hers. She didn’t doubt he could feel the happy, excited beating of her heart. She relaxed and reluctantly unwrapped her arms but she refused to completely let go of him. She smiled and then a loud laugh erupted, “I wonder what Dom’s gonna say. He’ll probably smirk and be all like, well it’s about time.” She laughed softly again and then flashed a brilliant smile in Asher’s direction. Her dream had finally come true.

He smirked as she spoke and was happy when she hugged him and said yes. "Careful I'm sweaty" He said as he hugged her back and smiled. "Yeah he probably will knowing him." He shook his head and smiled. He leaned closer to her and kissed her cheek. "My dad will be so happy." he said and rolled his eyes. his dad wasn't happy about a lot of things Asher did. But he could get over it. he could do what he wanted he was almost 20. He nodded at her. "Ya know I'm happy you said yeas I've been needing you for a while now." He smiled.

She was finally his. The girl he had wanted for so long was his. He was so happy he wanted to kiss her but he wanted her to make the first move. If she didn't kiss him soon he would kiss her. He was trying to be patient so he sat and waited pulling her closer to him running his hand up and down her side slowly looking into her eyes. He knew she could see the happiness, his eyes danced with it. He was still nervous though. He wanted to get up and do something but he didn't know what. He was hungry from a long day of training. Maybe here in a few they could go to her place and chill eat something. Possibly do a few other things. He had wanted her for so long everything he felt for her had built up inside him. he wanted to feel her, but he suppressed it.

Dev simply laughed and rolled her eyes a little, Careful, I'm sweaty. But she felt his arms wrap around her and it was exactly what she had been hoping it would be, she felt his lips brush lightly onto her cheek and she smiled again and laughed as he affirmed her suspicions about Dom and then mentioned his father would be so happy, she raised an eyebrow a little and laughed aloud when he rolled his eyes at it. She moved in closer as he spoke again, Ya know, I'm happy you said yes, I've been needing you for a while now.

She smiled and met his eyes as she spoke. “‘Needing’ me? She asked as a soft smile claimed her lips as she rested both her hands on his chest as she looked at him and spoke again, “What’s been happening?” She felt his hands moving on her side and was glad she wasn’t to ticklish and she held his happiness brightened eyes, she let her eyes travel over his face and she let them linger on his lips for a few minutes, before she let them stray over more of his body and then she returned them to his face and a slightly shy smile claimed her lips.

She moved in close to him and smiled again, she trailed her thumbs over his cheek bones and then she let one trail slowly and softly over his lips and then she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his lips, it was deep, it was gentle and it was rather passionate. She hadn’t realized how much had been building up in the years that the pair of them had been too shy to ask one another the question that he asked her just a few minutes before this embrace. As she kissed him, she moved her hands to get his to wrap around her too, and then she locked them back around his neck.

He smiled as she spoke. "Yeah, needing you.. You know how I am Dev.. i need someone to keep me stable and I haven't had that for years. So I needed you." he said and right after he felt her arms go around him and her lips meet his. He let a soft moan slip as he kissed her back matching her deepness and Passion with his own . He felt her move his arms around her then her hand traveled back to his neck. He pulled her into his lap without breaking he kiss and slid one hand up her back to her hair and tangled is fingers in her hair.

He liked kissing her and he didn't want to stop. he had kissed a few girls but she had the sweetest lips, they were soft and supple. He gently slid his tongue out and brushed her bottom lip with it. His kisses began to get a bit rough but he couldn't help it all his feelings were coming out he tried to slow them down but it wasn't working out. He could be aggressive when it came to love. He still had his innocence but he came close to loosing it more then once, he stopped himself every time because he wanted to save himself for Dev... he hoped she did the same. yes he was raped for a year but he never counted that because it wasn't willing.

She smiled and a soft nod indicated she understood as he spoke, Yeah, needing you…you know how I am Dev…I need someone to keep me stable and I haven't had that for years. So I needed you. She moved closer as she heard the soft moan slip free from his lips, she felt his passion and deepness matching her own and she whimpered softly for a moment, then she felt herself lifted and moved into his lap, she didn’t resist, she felt his hand move up her back and settle in her hair and she leaned into him as his tongue tested her lip.

She let her own free, releasing herself entirely to his attentions. She was still completely whole, she’d never wanted anyone else, she’d been being good, holding onto everything, saving it all for Asher. She felt him get a little overly aggressive and pushed herself back just a little and tilted his head up and held his gaze, “Easy honey…easy.” She murmured and then she returned her mouth to his, her tongue picking up its explorations again and she put her arms back around him, her fingers kneading gently but firmly into his shoulders, trying to make him, relax a little so that neither one of them would get hurt. She didn’t want to let him go just yet though.

Asher felt her lift away because he was getting to rough he looked up at her as she spoke. "Sorry." He murmured just as her lips met his again. He let his tongue play with hers as her hands rubbed his shoulders. He liked it he let a few soft moans slip free into the kiss. He trailed his free hand up and down her side sliding it into her shirt. He wanted to feel skin he didn't go above her hip though. He smirked, her skin was soft,he liked it. He pulled away abit and looked into her eyes. "I'm being pushy..."He said quietly. "Maybe we should stop before I try to throw you down and take you here and now in front of the whole world." He said a small smirk lingering.

She smiled as he spoke, Sorry. She leaned in again as his tongue touched and teased hers and she settled in a more comfortable position on his lap. She heard the moans and smiled into the kiss and then she felt his hand exploring and then a gasp of pleasure slid free as she felt the touch of his hand on her skin, she hadn’t expected that but oh how she liked it. She gripped his shoulders a little harder and then she felt him move away from her a little and a playful pout claimed her lips as she met Ashe’s eyes as he spoke once more.

I'm being pushy...maybe we should stop before I try to throw you down and take you here and now in front of the whole world. She caught his lingering smirk and leaned her head down by his ear and spoke, “It’s not pushy Ashe, it’s a built up passion that neither of us has let free…for years…and who would say anything about it if you did…” she paused and leaned back up, her blue eyes holding a glint of mischievousness as she leaned back down and continued, her voice low and a little rough from the proceedings.

“…that single other person there, his Companion, no one can see us all that well in this corner…” her voice trailed off again and a smirk clung to her lips as she dropped a few kisses from his right shoulder, across his chest, and to his other shoulder and then she kissed his neck gently before finishing her sentence, “…but if you’re not busy, and if you want to, we can go back to my place where there are no prying eyes.” Then she leaned back up and away from him and looked into his eyes, her own bright with her passion and her mischief. “Your move oh mighty Candidate.” She teased and laughed softly as she waited for his responses.

Asher smirked as she spoke. 'Yeah, what f he comes closer to the fence or what if people come to the Training Grounds. I'm already shirtless." He said and laughed a little. He kissed her nose then spoke again. "I was actaullly wanting to go to your house and chill for a while." He said and hugged her. "I'm so glad your mine.."He could believe it he was actually going to his house, as her boyfriend. He had been there a few times when he was just her friends but now he was her boyfriend. He smiled at the thought.

What if she was a candidate now and stayed in the dorms... that would be cool seeing he is a candidate to. He had to admit he was a bit nervous but he would eventually get over it though. "Okay I have to ask this, how long have you liked me?" He asked. 'becasue I have liked you since I was about 15 and we have known each other since we were 10 or so." He smirked he couldn't wait to for her answer. he bounced a bit hoping she didn't catch it. he was excited now. But that's what happens with split personalities.

Her own smirk reclaimed her lips as he spoke, Yeah, what if he comes closer to the fence or what if people come to the Training Grounds. I'm already shirtless. She wrinkled her nose playfully when he kissed it and then laughed softly and hugged him back tight as he spoke again, I was actually wanting to go to your house and chill for a while. I'm so glad you’re mine…okay I have to ask this, how long have you liked me? Because I have liked you since I was about 15 and we have known each other since we were 10 or so.

Settling herself between his legs she put both hands on his chest and gazed up at him as her fingers tracked along his skin. “We true but still, that’s the thrill of it all isn’t it? That we might get caught? But all right, if you so desire we’ll slip away to my place and chill a little. I am glad that we are finally together Asher, I have wanted it for so long, I’ve liked you for our entire lives, though the feelings didn’t really become high up there until five years ago, I was twelve then.” She smiled. Then she planted a kiss on his chest, over his heart and then settled in close to him and smiled again waiting.

He smirked as she spoke then kissed his chest. "What part of I'm sweaty do you not understand?" He said and grinned. He looked at his shirt and left it on his shoulder. "Yes I do desire to go to your place." He said and kissed her neck gently. He loved her, he didn't just have a crush on her he loved her with everything in him. He hated when they weren't together. He missed her so bad he hadn't even realized it was this bad till he seen her. He needed her and never realized how bad he did till now, while he was looking at her.

Devyn laughed aloud as she listened to Ashe speak, What part of I'm sweaty do you not understand? She saw him look at his shirt and then she heard his voice again. Yes I do desire to go to your place. She tilted her head a little and then spoke in answer, “I understand every part of it Ashe, I just don’t mind it, and if you wish we had better get going then.” Then she disentangled herself from Asher and slipped off the corner she had been sitting on. Leaning non-chalantly against the wall as her beautiful blue eyes fell to Ashe. He was hers and she was his. She smiled as she waited.
