Mia had been told by Anthony to go to the lake and gather some big fish, because he was to lazy to get up off his butt and do it himself. Plus, he wanted to 'challenge Mia' in his words, by making her not go to the store for fish, but catch them herself. She sighed, challenge alright...hmph, did he think she was really going to believe that? Seriously, who would fall for that? She narrowed her eyes at the lake, looking up at the sky a minute afterwards...idiots would. But she was not an idiot, although he saw her to be sometimes. Ugh, it made her so mad when he treated her like a child that had no idea about anything!
She closed her eyes in frustration before opening them again and seeing herself getting closer to the lake. Ugh, she had to make this quick, before anybody got in the way and tried to start a conversation up with her, making it a lot harder and taking her time away from her. She didn't want to talk to anybody, especially not today...well she never wanted to any-day, but still. People wasted her time, they were stupid and selfish....she groaned in frustration again, her thoughts kept swarming her....

Milo wore his usual outfit: a soft white shirt with a v-neck tied together with brown leather and a pair of khaki pants that hung slightly over his leather boots. His almond hair blew gently in the cool wind and his matching eyes were wide open, taking in the bright day and bathing in the sun that shone bright over his head, warming the strands of hair on the top of his head. Before him stood a flowing lake which, Milo knew, was full of life and song. Milo always loved visiting the forests and rivers and lakes and valleys and plains that surrounded his home. He was a lover of nature and an overall peaceful person in good times. However, like everyone, Milo had his moments. There was no stop to that form of human nature. None at all.
Milo had been at the lake for nearly an hour, enjoying the site. Rocks lines the lake, their assorted sizes and shapes created a body of variety as it hugged against the water. He bent over and picked up a flattened rock and rubbed his thumb over its smooth surface, looking at it with curiosity. He had always wondered how the shapes of the rocks were so varied. They were all unique and yet, he knew, they all came from the place he along with everything else share: the earth. He lined his forefinger with the edge of the flattened rock and threw it at the lake watching amazed as it skipped. He counted.
One...two...three...four...five...five skips. He was impressed, he usually did not do so well. Two or three were his limit. Perhaps he was getting better?
Milo looked out at the water. He turned his head and from the side of his vision he could see a girl walking towards the lake. He brought his hand up to his eyes to shield them from the bright sun. Who was that? He asked himself through squinted eyes.

Cliff was walking, it was a nice day and he had finally gotten out of his dormitory without his mom freaking out. She always checked on him, it annoyed him so much. She was so overly protective, it wasn't even funny. Well, Gwen and Jayda always found it funny, and other people might think it was funny...but not to him! It was soo annoying and embarassing, he was just glad he didn't live with her anymore. Of course his mom wasn't wild about that, disliking the idea of even wanting to be a Rider for it was 'far to dangerous'. Ah, what did she know? He thought it'd be quite fun to have a dragon by his side, he'd be all cool and everything. He smirked, suddenly stopping. He had come to the lake, and right in front of him was a girl walking towards it. He stared at her, then saw a boy by the lake. Eh, he was okay. But the girl...she was hot! He went over to the lake, away from the boy, and stared at the girl.
