Wolf coughed harshly as the wind pulled his hood down once again. It was a rather windy day, it was giving him trouble keeping a low profile. He was about at the point where he was going to keep his hood down, he had to pull it up every five minutes and it was really annoying and frustrating. He looked around and shivered, sneezing as snot blew everywhere. Erg, not awesome. Not a good day at all. Why did he have to get out of bed on this day? He still didn't feel to well, and today was not a good day at all. He had to get up though, it wasn't his choice.
He had the stomach virus and was only out of work for about three days before Drake decided he better get going. He sniffed, snot was about to drip off his nose. Ugh..... Not only did he have to get out of bed but he had to find Tyler, who could be lurking around anywhere. He shook his head, what if he was in trouble? Dang it! Wolf should have never laid down and stayed out for three days! It could cost Tyler's life! But he quickly remembered how tough Tyler was. Nobody should underestimate him, he was possibly better than Wolf himself.
No, definetly better. If only Wolf could be that strong, he could protect Tyler better. But, he has never failed yet. He stopped and looked around, seeing he was in the fields. The long grass was up to his knees now, it was short to some people yes but still. The long thin grasses danced in the wind, what wonders were out here in this part of the Sylians. Yeah, snakes and other creatures. He wasn't to worried, no real enemy like a Kyogre or Izzy or maybe a Mist would dare come into the Sylians, would they? Well, this far into the Sylians. Besides, it would have never gotten through the entrance.
Okay, maybe he could be here. He squinted, scanning over the fields but sighed when he didn't see him. He would have to walk around here, it would take forever for him to look over the whole area though. He'd have to be quick about it, so he started walking once more. He suddenly felt a presence. Could it be him? He turned around to see who it was, but it wasn't Tyler. Man, he had made a mistake, his hood was down, now the person could see him. Oh man, he might die for this. All was well, as long as he didn't give to much info out he should be fine. He shivered and watched the person.

Milo walked through the fields with heavy steps filled with anger and sorrow. "Look what he did to the place" he saidbthrough gritted teeth. Milo recalled his run in with the guy named Blake...or Tyler. It didn't matter. The fields still smelled of burnth foilage. It made Milo crinkled his nose in disgust. It was no longer the valley he knew. What he once knew as the valley of beauty was now a valley of ashes. Such beauty has gone to waste.
Milo bent down. As he did so soot rose like puffy clouds all the way up to his face. Disgusting indeed. He let out a sneeze. He ran his fingers through the soot making a drawing f of his family crest a dragon eating its own tail. It was a sign of bad luck. It was perfect for the time and place.
Milo looked up and saw something move. He rose slowly and watched. Another person? Had they seem the smoke a while back. Surely not. It had been days. "you! Why are you here." He yelled so his voice would carry. Not out of anger.

"Ah!" He shouted in surprise as the boy called out for him. He clapped his hands over his mouth. Man, he had been spotted! All this time he had been hoping he could get away from the boy...but no, he had been caught. He gulped and shakily put his hands down.
"I...I...." He stuttered, voice quivering. "I'm..." He breathed heavily. "Looking around..."
He looked closer to where the boy was and saw something black in the ground. He looked down at his feet and saw what looked like soot...ashes....what was this? The grass seemed fine! The grass looked healthy! The grass was long and beautiful! The grass was...scorched and filled with ashes. He had been careless and not seen it before. Who could have done this? Somebody had burned the place down! But the grass was fine now, it grew back fast, it was probably a lot higher before the fire that must have taken place. He bent down and rubbed the soot in his finger, taking the black dust in his fingers and sniffing it. He sneezed and dust flew everywhere, then he fell back. Man, that sneeze was rough! Hopefully this boy was no trouble, he wasn't ready for a fight.... But who could have done this? It came to him...No...No...Tyler...could he.?
This didn't seem good, he looked around quickly before seeing a glint a few feet in front of him. He blinked and crawled towards it, he didn't feel like getting up fully so he crawled on his hands and knees. He soon stopped and pciked up a lighter...or what was left of the lighter It was now melted and useless, he put the lighter closer so he could get a better look and saw...it was Tyler's. Man! This was not good, Tyler really did it this time! Oh man, and without Wolf to! He let out a yell of frustration that filled the air, echoing out. A flock of birds scattered in the distance, flying overhead. Then all was quiet. He blinked, looking at the sky. His hair ruffled in another breeze and he shivered. He wondered...did this guy meet Tyler...?
"W-w-what are y-y-you doing out h-h-here?" He asked, voice quivering with worry, sadness, coldness, and scaredness.

Milo gave the boy a strange look of curiosity. Looking around? Yea, nothing suspicious about that, Milo thought to himself. He dared not to say that to the boy. He wasn't looking for any more trouble. With his arm still wounded from when Tyler had stabbed him, Milo was in absolutely no position to take part in another fight. He had to stay out of this one.
The stutter that escaped the boy's lips made Milo only feel that much more sorry for him. Maybe he was looking for Tyler...no, there was no way the two boys could be connected. Tyler was a...he didn't want to think about it. But...this boy seemed completely different....not...evil. No, not evil at all.
Milo stared for a moment before walking slowly up to the stranger. He kept his hand on the hilt of his blade in a relaxing way, not meant to show hostility towards the boy.
"There was a fire here not long back." He started and stopped. He didn't want to let the boy know that he had something to do with the fire...that he was a part of it. What if this guy WAS with Tyler? What if he attacked Milo? Then what would he do...he would be out of luck.
Milo shivered slightly in the cold.
Winter was coming and the sky was gray with looming clouds. They promised snow.
"Have you seen a pale boy, about this height," he said gesturing with his hands, "Blonde hair?"
Milo paused.
"He bandaged my arm. A kind favor considering the circumstances."
Another pause.
"Have you seen him?"

He got up and saw him grab the hilt of his own blade and he turned white, his eyes filling up with fear, and his shaking worsening. What was worse was he was walking towards him. He lookwed around, maybe he could escape somehow. Just run to the right, make a u-turn really fast like, and run back to the village and hide somewhere. He was a coward, yes. He was scared, yes. He was a scaredy cat wolf. But he had a reason. This guy had a sword, a deadly one, and all he had was a small flip on knife in his back pocket to protect him. Not much, the knife was getting duller each day so it wouldn't be much use. He froze when the boy stopped and held his breath.
Suddenly he asked for a person. His eyes widened as he described all the features of Tyler. He shievered...so he did do this....Wolf should have known better to leave him alone, this guy did something to him didn't he? He looked Milo up and down and then backed away one step, he felt like the guy was warning him with the blade, intimidating him. His eyes wavered with sadness then more scared look rushed into his eyes once again, replacing the sad.
"Y-y-yeah. Now that I-I think about i-it he does sound k-kinda familiar. I t-t-hink his name is K-K-Kyle." He stuttered.

Milo paused as the boy stepped back. Milo's hands shot up with open palms to show the boy that he meant no harm. "Sorry," he said in a kind voice, "habit..." It was, indeed, a habit as as well. Milo was not lying about his habit of resting his hand on the hilt that strapped around his waist. It was something that he picked up from his Uncle, Crixen, who had always cared for him. It made him feel like Crixen just by doing it. He wanted to be like Crixen and he admired him as an adult figure.
Milo continued to step towards the boy. They were now about a meter away from each other--a safe distance for either one of them. It looked as though the other boy did not have a weapon on hand, unless, of course, it was concealed. Milo doubted that. By the looks of the boy he couldn't hurt a fly even if he got the chance. Milo saw no reason to worry.
He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned more of the right side. "Well, he called himself 'Blake' at first, and then corrected it to 'Tyler'" Milo said, "I don't know if it's Blake or Tyler, or even if it's neither of them, but I wanted to find him and...have a little chat." Milo gave a weak smile. There was no hidden intention to hurt Tyler, he really did just want to see him again. He didn't even know why...he just...did.
"If you see him, you'll let me know...right?" Milo asked.

Wolf relaxed a little when he put his hands up, a sign that he meant no harm. When he was told Tyler gave himself away he went wide-eyed.
"THAT IDIOT!!" He yelled then his hands clapped over his mouth.
He had gotten a little carelss, he was the idiot. It was just...why would Tyler say his name? Did he get pushed hard enough? Did it slip out? What happened?
"He's alright right? Is he hurt? What happened?" He asked, something had definetly happened!
He needed to make sure he was okay, and if this guy hurt him he would have to do something about that. He shivered at his thoughts of hurting the guy, man....it was just, what if this guy killed Tyler? Who would Wolf have left? He would have nobody....nobody..... He looked in the eyes of the boy and backed away again. When he heard the question he nodded frequently.
"I will tell him!" He said. "You can count on me! I won't forget, I'll tell him once I see him again!" He said rather quickly. "If...I see him again..." He murmured then looked at his hands sadly, closing them into fists. "M-master..." He said very quietly.

Milo's hand shot towards the hilt of his blade when anger rose in the boy. It shied away when he noticed that it was not anger but simply frustration caused by his worry. "So you do know him," Milo said with a huff. Milo didn't know what his relationship with Tyler was, but it wasn't anything he needed to be worried about.
However...if this guy hangs around Tyler, the two can't be that far on the spectrum of personality. That is, unless this boy was of 'lower rank' simply acting out of the orders of Tyler. Yea..Tyler seemed to fit that part pretty well.
Milo looked at the boy with narrowed eye browns. Why had he lied...to protect Tyler..maybe.
He cocked his head. "If you see him again?" Milo paused for a moment. "Your friend is fine, I assure you." he said with a reassuring tone that colored his voice. "Perhaps...you could take me to him?" he asked.

Wolf's head shot up and his eyes looking right into Milo's when he asked for him to take him. He coughed and sniffed, for snot was coming off his nose again.
"Ahh, n-n-n-n-no it's perfectly f-f-f-ine!" He stuttered. "I mean....you d-d-don't have to come with me! I-I mean, you can see h-him anyday! Haha..." He laughed nervously.
Man! What was this guy up to?! He was wanting to see Tyler...but why? Did he do something wrong. He stepped back again, if he was faster. He looked behind him to see the open fields, It would be an easy run. He gulped then looked back.
"Uh...." He stammered. "I...I...Have t-to go..." He said. He sneezed again.
Then again, he wasn't fast now that he was sick...

Milo shot one arm out with an open palm. "No, please! Don't go!" Milo insisted. "My intentions are not ill with Tyler. I haven't a clue where he has gone...I want to thank him personally. You see, a message won't do..." Milo said slowly.
It was true, though. Milo had indeed been a little edgy over the whole 'you started the fire, you're going to put it out,' scenario. Now that he looked back at it it was rude and uncalled for. The tone of voice he used against Tyler wasn't called for, and Milo was holding a grudge against himself. He knew that Tyler had said he was sorry, and Milo had shoved that apology back into his face at the time.
"I just want to apologize..." he said, looking down and away at the grass.

He looked at him and blinked.
"P-p-promise you won't h-hurt him?" He asked, a suspicious tone in his voice. He wouldn't let anything or anybody harm his master! "I-if you're sure...I guess...we c-c-can both...l-look for him..." He shivered as another nasty gust of wind blew, him staggering over almost falling because of the force. He sniffed and then coughed. "Man...I hate being...s-sick..." He groaned. "I also hate days like t-t-today...it's so windy and cloudy...the w-wind and c-cold isn't helping me..."
"...although it does make me feel a-alot better...I felt h-hot before....but..." He sighed. "W-well, let's g-go." He nodded. "I've looked for him through out the Sylians, the g-g-gardens and c-caverns and everything..." He sighed, man, once again he had given out information. Information that he had been looking for Tyler, or had that already been brought out?
