Angelina Vixen: The Trap
Chapter 1
I looked around and shivered out of extreme coldness. It may have been summer, but it got really cold at night, especially when you're out on the streets and not under any blankets. I was at the park, waiting for a friend, a friend who was late. How long have I been waiting here, you ask? Oh, about an hour or two, not to much right? Wrong. I've been out here in the cold waiting patiently in my bright stop sign red shorts that had chains going across them, and then came my dark violet purple short sleeved shirt with flowers on them, this was the only thing to protect me. I have been shivering like crazy, not to mention about to go crazy, I can't stand much more. The cold wind pierced by skin that was open to any contact, my legs, arms, and face. Well, at least I was smart enough to bring my white sandals with me. Yeah, probably should have tooken shoes, they would have kept me warmer and made it where I could run faster, but hey I was in a hurry!
I now wished I had taken a little more time getting dressed, if only I had known she would take this long to get here...she said to go to the park and meet her at 8:03. I look at my watch and see the time, it's about 10:05. My right eye twitches in annoyance and it clearly showed how crazy I was going. You see, usually when I'm annoyed or going crazy my eyes twitch, usually my right, and sometimes I laugh maniaclly when it's the crazy side. So far I was sane, annoyed, but not crazy. I start making my way towards the entrance of the park to go home, even though I would feel bad later for leaving her, but then again she might have fell asleep on the couch... Then I hear a noise in the bushes right beside me. I blink and looked at it, tilting my head slightly, I was curious although I was sure what it was.
"Alia?" I call out in a whisper that pierced the still and quietness anyways. "Alia Airheart is that you?" We always had a habit of talking as if we was calling each other on the radio, saying our first name first then the first and last name second, asking where we were.
I hear her clearly, she was pretty loud like always, it kind of hurt my ears right now since I was used to the quiet tonight. "Hey Angel, Angelina Vixen! I'm sorry I was late. I kind of fell asleep on the couch and when I woke up..." See, right there, told you she must have fell asleep.
I laugh it off, even though I was annoyed and rather bothered about this. "Alia get out of the bush! There's no one around to see you!"
She was paranoid at times, you see, for a big reason you could say. I watched the bush, a little impatiently to tell the truth, I wanted to know what was going on because she called me for what she called an emergency. After a minute or two she finally gets out of the bush, seeing that it's clear and I was right.
"How do I look?" She asks, randomly. I had no idea why because nobody was here to see her.
She has her usual spiral curly bright blonde hair that goes to her elbows, which I make sure is kept untouched by highlights, dye, and scissors. Her light baby blue eyes are beautiful as always, or that's what I always thought. She has green diamonds in her ears, for she got them pierced at age 9. She is wearing her necklace I gave her, that has angel wings on it, she never takes it off in fear she'll lose it. She always freaked out if she thought something happened to it. I remember all the times she went to touch the necklace and it wasn't there, and she freaked out saying she lost it and I had to calm her down and somehow tell her that it had twisted around behind her and she didn't lose it. She is apparently bare-footed, unlike me. Maybe if I went bare-footed I could have gotten here faster, but then again I'd end up hurting my feet by running on the pavement, and I'd have to wait here even longer because I would get here earlier. I can't really tell what she is wearing because it's so dark out here, I barely could see my own. It looks like...
"Alia why are you wearing blue pajamas?" I ask, stifling a laugh.
She looks down at what she is wearing and gasps as if she just now saw this.
"I must have forgotten to put on some regular clothes!" She looks at me and laughs which of course makes me laugh with her. "But! Look at you!" She said pointing to me and laughing harder.
I laugh harder to. It was true, I didn't match at all, I had no room to talk. "I got the first clothes I found, I didn't care if they matched or not because I figured you was the only one I was seeing. But sadly, I had to put short sleeved clothes on, and I totally regret that." I say, smiling at her, she always made me feel better at the worst of times. Like when I'm annoyed and cold.
"One minute, let me stretch. Haven't gotten to all day."
I nod and step back so she would have more room for her famous stretch. Her stretch is different than what you would expect of a normal person. Well, because she is part...
Her large pure white angel wings come out with a woosh! She gives a slight Ahhh because her wings must have been in so long. I smiled as she looks pleased, comfortable, and happier. She smacks her lips and scratches her right shoulder, twisting her back I hear a faint pop. She blinks and then puts her shoulders down, closing her eyes in pleasure. This was why she was paranoid, she thought something would happen to her if people knew she was part bird (or Angel as I call it) She seemed a lot better now, but just to make sure:
"All better?" I ask, I didn't want to rush her although the cold was still getting to me.
"All better." She says back, smiling at me. She always smiled whenever she looked at me, I made her feel better to. With my comforting smile and my soft eyes. She always saw through me, and I saw through her to. We was pratically sisters, and we looked so much alike to. Well, that's what others said, probably because our hair color was exactly alike, well almost. Mine had a hint of brown in it if you looked close enough. Not to mention hers was curly mine was only wavy.
"Why are we here again?" I asked because she was the one that called me and told me to come to the park and wait for her, I wanted to get home so I needed to get this all wrapped up.
"Huh?"
"You were the one who said we should meet here!" I say, trying not to get frustrated although it was nearly impossible. I didn't want to show any annoyance or frustration to her, it would hurt her but...the cold was really getting to me, and I might actually go crazy tonight.
"Oh yea!" She said with a slight grin, she either ignored the hint of annoyance in my voice or didn't hear it. I guessed ignored since she always could tell with that kind of stuff, cause she was just good like that.
"So, what's the reason?" I ask, we was almost there...almost time to go home, she just needed to tell me.
